Paving Awards
MAPA is accepting nominations for Quality Paving Awards.
Nominations for Quality Paving Awards are being accepted for work performed in the 2009/10 construction season. Awards will be presented for exemplary Asphalt construction. Nominated pavements will be evaluated for factors described in the attached sheet, Paving Award Evaluation Factors.
Only one (1) pavement nomination per award category per company division will be accepted. Nominating multiple pavements constructed under a single contract cannot be accommodated. SEND US ONLY YOUR BEST! Please submit nominations to the MAPA office by Friday, December 2, 2011. A high quality photograph of the pavement in electronic format (high resolution), must accompany the nomination form. The photo should be such that it accurately depicts the work, and is something you would be proud to display for all to see.
Awards will be presented at the Mississippi Quality Asphalt Conference on February 7-8, 2012. Nominations for all award categories must be received at the MAPA office by Friday, December 2, 2011.
